A drink that can bridge the gap of two strangers falling in love.

A drink which can bring out all the hidden secrets in a group night stay.

A drink that can handle the pressure of a deadlines, a night before the exams.

A drink which gives reason for families to sit even after a dinner party.

You might have guessed it by now, Yes- A Cup of Coffee.

There is nothing like a cup of caffeine. Be it first thing in the morning or last thing at night, it has made our lives easier. The milky taste of it with brownie added benefits make it one of best drinks discovered. Excuse me if I’m being biased, but isn’t it true?

Mocha. Regular. Latte. Expresso. Iced- nothing can beat a fresh cup of coffee. The mere aroma of it drives the hunger for a muffin with hot cappuccino. It boosts you for a better day, tastes delicious and bridges all the awkward moments of great conversations. The combination of hot smoky expresso with creamy steamed hot milk completes your day. Only if this amazing beverage wasn’t already cool enough, latte art is like a cherry on the top.

Lately, many innovations in rainbow food colouring have taken place- how could coffee be left behind? Taking the game of latte art to another level, Mason Salisbury- a latte artist of Las Vegas based barista has introduced trippy rainbow latte art. The use of food colour dye produces creations of extraordinary psychedelic colours. He puts various drops of rainbow colours in his steamed milk before pouring the drink in style. With just a slight movement of wrist, the white milk and dyes turn into spiral patterns.

He claims to have been practicing this profession since many years, but this invention has gained him the highest popularity. The creation of rainbow latte has gained him 24,000 followers on instagram. His intriguing traditional design is all that he had initially, but he has come a long way by giving wings to imagination. He even tried trying the same style with expresso, giving us colour in caffeine! How cool is that?

As his invention took the internet by storm, even UK’s Costa got inspired by it. The high demand of rainbow coffee made them add this item on their menu. Through their ongoing campaign about LGBT, they connected caffeine with a cause-making it a bigger success. Though the resulting designs were not as good, but the efforts were acknowledged by customers in large number.

You can see a range of photos and videos of Salisburg’s latte art on his instagram profile @ibrewcoffee. The combination of his work with a tinch of his personal life would be irresistible to unfollow. A few are so pretty to even drink it!
